I’m a professional confidant and advisor for founders looking for clarity and peace who want to become Better Humans.
I’ve been involved in business my whole life. I was fortunate enough to grow up in an entrepreneurial family, had many of my own companies, and have helped business owners all over the world create companies that give them more life, not less.
My aspiration is, through my work, to help create more warmth and intimacy in the world by being a catalyst that helps people become Better Humans.
I love working with bright, committed people who want to develop themselves, their business, their people, and their lives. Typically they’re successful business founders, owners, executives, and senior decision-makers looking for a safe pair of hands to advise them in complex situations.
My work is about helping people navigate through difficult moments and suits people who want a better experience in all areas of their lives.
I hold space for the conversations people need to have, but have been avoiding, so they happen peacefully and professionally – rather than having things break down irretrievably.
Some clients call me a Peacemaker because I’m good at mediating complex situations so everyone profits. It’s not peacemaking like at the UN, it’s working with leaders and teams inside ethical businesses to help everyone get closer, better, and bigger.
I use a blend of advising, coaching, mentoring – whatever is required to get to a place of truth so everyone can flourish. I’m very good at helping people move from confusion to clarity.
Some people have said I’m like a founder’s consigliere because I help clients solve difficult issues they’re facing in life and business.
I’m not phased by money, status, power, success, or titles, and often work in owner-managed family companies. Because of my background, I understand the challenges of mixing business with blood and have worked with family businesses all over the world, so I’m pretty well qualified to help navigate their unique nuances.
I don’t work with predatory businesses that operate unethically because it doesn’t bring me joy. I politely decline to work with companies who treat people like machines, or habitually manipulate others, purely for their own gain.
I’m not for everybody but if you really care about creating an ethical business – and not just trying to get away with something, close a manipulative deal, or flog bits of a business off by breaking it down into parts – I’m the right person to help mediate any difficult situations you’re up against.
